Coordinated by Robin Patton
Bookworms is a reading enrichment program for Kindergarteners and 1st graders. Robin Patton will lead the program but need help from a few parent volunteers.
Bookworms is held on the third Wednesday of every month after school from 3:30PM - 4:30PM (December 18th, January 15th, February 19th, March 19th, April 16th, and May 21st. Due to parent / teacher conferences there will be no Bookworms program on November 20th.) Each month will start with snack time in the cafeteria and move to the library for story time. After the story is read, parent volunteers will assist with a craft that relates to that month's story. If time and weather allow, the children will have some fun on the playground until 4:30pm. This volunteer opportunity is a great way to meet other parents and instill a love of reading in our young children!
