Tiger Club Help Needed

Parents, we still need your help! We only have 6 parents signed-up to run Tiger Clubs in the elementary school, but need 4 more in order to run the program. It was so well received last session and we would hate to have to cancel it because we don’t have enough clubs to offer the students. We ask that you PLEASE consider running a club. Just a few reminders…
- Instructors are paid a stipend of $150-250 for their 6 week club!
- If you teach a club, your children are guaranteed a space in your club or another club running at the same time!
- There are many clubs that don’t require any planning- Legos, computer club, board games, cup stacking… these are all examples of clubs that run themselves. We simply need an adult to supervise the activity!
- You can partner with another parent or teacher if you don’t want to do it yourself!
We had over 100 students participate last session and anticipate more registering for this session. If we don’t have enough clubs, we will have many disappointed children 
Please help!!

Family Bingo Night!

There is a $2.00 admission charge per person per Bingo card. Additional Bingo cards available at $2.00 each. We will have a table of white elephant prizes for winning kids and adults. (white elephant prizes are gently used items)(Thank you to the 8th grade class for your donations)
- Send your registration and payment in an envelope marked: Attention: PTA – Family Bingo Night.
- Checks are to be made out to the UTS-PTA. All responses must be received by Monday, January 24th.
- Due to limited space – registration is accepted first come, first serve

There is a PTA meeting this Thursday, January 7th, at 9:30am in the UTMS cafeteria.
We have several projects and programs that need chairs including
- Read Across America
- Spring 5K
- ES recess programs
- Juggler Family night

Tiger Club Volunteers Needed

The Union Township Education Foundation is looking forward to offering a winter session of Tiger Clubs. A parent volunteer sign-up form should have come home with your child(ren) last week. We would like to start the next session in late January, so we ask that you please return the forms by January 8th if you are interested in leading a club. We DESPERATELY need more parents and teachers to lead clubs this winter!
We have many talented parents and teachers in our district. You may not even realize that a hobby of yours would be of interest to the children. If you are interested in leading a club, please fill out the form and return it to the school office by January 8th. You are welcome to lead a club with another parent/teacher and share the stipend.

It’s fast and easy… takes no more than 10 minutes to process a Corporate Donation if you volunteer 50 hours or more for an organization or for Union Township School. PTA Announcements

Happy Holidays to You and Your Family. Before the year officially ends, we have a few announcements and thank yous to share with you.
- This Friday, December 18th, is the 7th and 8th grade dance. Not the 8th as previously announced (Click here to download the flyer)
- The sale of the Kid Stuff Coupon Books has been a fantastic success! Thank you to Judy Morris for distributing and keeping track of all the books. Thank you to all of you who purchased and sold books. Several books are still outstanding so please return your order form or books immediately.
- Congratulations to Mary Jo Haggerty and thank you to all the volunteers who made the Breakfast With Santa a wonderful event again this year.
- Thank you to everyone who donated goodies and treats for the Staff and Teacher Holiday celebration. So many of you contributed. Thank you to Lynne Thompson, Lauren Nenna and Casie Fariello for coordinating everything.
- If you would like to donate to the Angels in Africa program, which is run by two UT alumni, please click here to read the flyer.
- Thank you to Lynne Thompson, Amy Masters, Kim Primatic and several other parent volunteers who are in the process of working with Mrs Suchovic to improve indoor recess at our Middle School. Thank you everyone for your time, ideas and cooperation.

PTA Announcements:
- Breakfast with Santa sign up forms are due tomorrow, December 7th. (Click here to download the form) This family friendly (grades k-4 and siblings) event is this coming Saturday, December 12th
- 7/8th Grade Holiday Dance is Friday, December 18th
- Kid Stuff Coupon Books, which are great for holiday shopping, are available now for sale through the UTS PTA. All order forms or unwanted books must be returned no later than 12/11 to either school’s office.
